Black Youth Finance is a tutored online course with the primary purpose of empowering our young people with the fundamental knowledge required to manage their finances competently. We strive for attendees to not only survive the increasingly harsh climate, but to thrive in it. We also encourage attendees to begin a dialogue with their parents and surrounding adults regarding financial skills and habits.

ABOUT US

Black Youth Finance was founded in London, England by Andrew Francis. The tragic murder of George Floyd in May 2020 sparked a flame and highlighted the mistreatment, lack of respect and protection towards the black community. This is due to many factors with lack of financial power and economics amongst the black community playing a significant part. Although this tragic incident occurred in the US, the circumstances are mirrored in the UK. As well as this it has become apparent that financial management skills are deteriorating amongst the younger generations, with a quarter of UK adults having less than £100 in savings. These issues can be rectified with financial education. Black Youth Finance is here to educate our young people on the subject of financial literacy to empower them with the knowledge required to beat the odds in a world which is set up against them. Our tutor Andrew Francis uses his extensive research, teaching skills and investment experience to spark the mind of our young up and coming kings and queens.
